Kyias Moldokasymov, a well-known historian from Bishkek, reported through social media about a threat to his private garden, which covers about 6 hectares, located in the Alamudun district. The reason was plans for the construction of a bypass road.

He noted that the work was planned to be carried out without prior notification and the necessary project documents.

After a report aired on one of the television channels, the situation attracted public attention. As Kyias Moldokasymov himself recounted, the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, along with a working group, arrived at the scene. They proposed an alternative option — to lay the road in a way that would avoid the destruction of the garden.

The historian expressed his shock at the thought of potentially losing the land he had cultivated for many years. He emphasized that the garden not only has economic significance but also, according to special calculations, produces a significant amount of oxygen annually and serves as an example of the development of a green economy in the city.

Fortunately, for the historian, the situation was resolved positively, and he will be able to continue caring for his garden and cultivating the land.
