This decision was made in accordance with the government decree that defines the procedure for forming the social package of television and radio channels, which has been in effect since June 23, 2014, under number 349.
The Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy has been instructed to allocate 50.3 million soms for the payment of broadcasting services for the social package, starting from November 14 and until the end of December 2025. These funds will be used for both digital terrestrial and satellite broadcasting.
In addition, the Ministry of Finance must provide funds in the republican budget for broadcasting services: for 2026 — 513.7 million soms, of which 127.3 million soms will go towards repaying the debt for 2024; for 2027, 386.4 million soms are planned.
