Begayim, a mother of three children, faced serious challenges after the birth of her youngest son Beknur, who was diagnosed with microcephaly and epilepsy. Unlike many, she does not seek help but actively develops her online business to support her family. Each sale of her products is not just a business transaction but an investment in her children's future.
Pregnancy and Initial Difficulties
Begayim and her husband have three children: their eldest son is 11 years old and is in the fifth grade, their daughter is 9 years old and is in the third grade, and the youngest, Beknur, is already five and a half years old. He has serious health issues—microcephaly and epilepsy with convulsive syndrome.
Beknur's pregnancy coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic. Doctors noticed that at the seventh month, the fetus did not reach the required weight, and they were advised to take vitamins. An ultrasound at the eighth month confirmed that the weight was still below normal.
Begayim began to experience swelling, and during a routine check-up, doctors recorded high blood pressure. She was urgently hospitalized, where she was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia.

Doctors suggested a cesarean section, but the family refused. The next day, labor was induced, and it progressed rapidly and almost without assistance. At one point, the baby's head became stuck in the birth canal, leading to a hematoma in the parietal region at birth. This could have caused asphyxia.
Nevertheless, Beknur was born crying, breathed on his own, and was able to drink from a bottle, which doctors assessed as a satisfactory condition. However, on the fourth day, he fell into a coma that lasted 10 days, and an ultrasound revealed a brain hemorrhage.
After coming out of the coma, Beknur needed respiratory support for some time. On the 17th day, he was transferred to the pediatric pathology department, and the family returned home only after a month.
Life After the Hospital: Sleepless Nights and First Joys
The trials did not end there: Beknur began to have seizures and attacks. He was admitted to intensive care twice, and for several days, he did not eat or drink anything. His parents sought help from various doctors, including specialists in alternative medicine.
Until he was eight months old, Beknur hardly slept at night, and his father stayed with him until three or four in the morning, after which Begayim took over.

The older children grew up calm and hardly cried, while Beknur completely changed their family life. This year, he smiled for the first time, and this became a symbol of hope for Begayim.
Beknur loves people and communication very much. When guests come to their home, he becomes more active. He also adores walks and music, especially songs by Kyrgyz performer Bek Borbiev.
Today, Begayim is confident that her son has taught her to be strong and patient, as well as to appreciate the little joys. Even in difficult moments, he continues to strive for life, which has become her main motivation. Despite all the worries, there is always order and comfort in the house.
Online Business as a Way to Support the Family
The family receives a government allowance of 8,000 soms, plus an additional 7,000 soms for care. However, this amount is not enough, so Begayim runs a business without leaving her son.
She engages in online sales and learned to order goods from China in 2021. The markup on the products is only 200-300 soms. Earnings are unstable: for example, in January, it amounted to just a couple of thousand soms.
She has a group on WhatsApp where she communicates with clients. Some products are provided to her on consignment by acquaintances from the "Dordoy" market. Her assortment includes cotton two-piece suits and toys.

Once, a girl who sold toys gifted the family a cheerful frog. Begayim shared this in her blog, and her followers began to inquire where they could buy the same one. As a result, the seller provided her with ten more frogs for sale.
Begayim constantly thinks about what content to create and what video to shoot to increase sales. Her husband mainly helps her. The older children also support her: sometimes she leaves Beknur with them for 2-3 hours.
She rarely complains and tries to use her phone productively—studying courses, looking for new opportunities, and always striving for development.
Support Through Purchase
Begayim's main motivation is the future of her children. She does not want them to live in rented apartments, as they do now. In her childhood, she could not develop and attend courses. Today, there are many opportunities—learning English, IT fields, studying abroad—and Begayim wants her children to have choices.
Working online allows her to be close to her son and earn money. A regular schedule from 9:00 to 17:00 is impossible for her.
Begayim maintains a blog on social media, sharing her story, daily life, and the products she offers. She is open to collaboration with those who can provide goods for sale.
This kind of support is not just about raising funds but about helping through a regular purchase, choosing the right product, and supporting the work of a mother who daily combines caring for her special child with work.
Begayim wishes for other parents of children with special needs to know that they are not alone. And if her story gives someone hope or strength for the journey ahead, then all of this is not in vain.
