The public transport route connecting Kara-Balta and Sary-Bulak is under threat. The issue was raised by representatives of the transport company that operates passenger transportation in the city and the Jaiyl district.
According to the carrier, serious problems are observed on the section of the road near the "Bakay-Inpak" enterprise, located in the southern part of Kara-Balta. The road is in poor condition: it is riddled with potholes, which significantly complicates the movement of public transport.
This route serves the residents of the villages of Sary-Bulak and Monoldor daily, as well as the summer cottage areas "Yuzhny" and "Gornyak." Passengers also include those heading to the city cemetery. The driver makes up to three trips a day, transporting schoolchildren and working individuals.
However, since March of this year, the driver of the route has refused to go out on the line due to the condition of the road, as it has become extremely difficult and unsafe to travel on. The transport constantly breaks down. The carrier, the company OsOO "Absolute Auto," reports that they have already appealed to various authorities, including the Municipal Enterprise "DSU" and the city administration, but have received nothing but verbal promises so far.
Previously, the carrier was forced to reduce one trip for two days, which caused numerous complaints from residents. Parents of schoolchildren reported that their children could not arrive on time for the Olympiad held at schools No. 10 and No. 12.
The company emphasizes that they do not know how they will be able to continue servicing the route under such conditions. A complete halt of movement will leave several settlements and summer cottage areas without transport communication.
