Representatives from nearly 100 countries have been invited to the VI World Nomad Games (WNG). This was announced by Urmat Asanbaev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, during a meeting of the committee on science, education, innovative development and information technologies, culture, sports, and affairs of the Jogorku Kenesh.
According to him, it is expected that more than 2,800 athletes will participate in the upcoming games.
The program includes 43 sports disciplines that have been officially approved.
The competitions will take place at four different venues in the Issyk-Kul region.
In particular, tournaments in various wrestling styles will be held at the Gazprom sports complex, while national horse games will be organized at the racetrack in Cholpon-Ata.
Additionally, sports events will take place at the Kychyn pasture, while intellectual games will be held at the Eurasia hotel.
We remind you that the VI World Nomad Games are scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 6 in Kyrgyzstan.
