He noted that equestrian competitions occupy a central place in the World Nomad Games, attracting a large number of spectators and generating interest among both participants and international media.
“After the V World Nomad Games in Kazakhstan, we received numerous positive reviews from the public, but there was also criticism regarding the format of the kokpar and kok-boru competitions. Many asked how exactly the kok-boru game would be organized at the upcoming games. As a result, a thoughtful decision was made to include kokpar in the program of the VI World Nomad Games, preserving all previous rules. Thus, both types will be included in the program – both kok-boru and kokpar,” Moldazhiyev stated.
The head of the State Agency emphasized that sports should be outside of politics and that they actively promote ethnoculture and ethnosport. He also confirmed our team's participation in the kokpar competitions, noting that preparation and training camps have already begun.
In addition, Moldazhiyev announced that this year at the VI World Nomad Games, awards will be presented for the first time in the categories of "Great Player in Kok-boru" and "Great Horse of Kok-boru."
