The prize fund for the sports competitions will amount to 49 million soms, of which 5 million is designated for kok-boru, a team game, and 1 million for horse racing, he added.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for August 31 in Bishkek. On September 1, participants will be transported to Issyk-Kul, and the sports competitions will begin on September 2.
As part of the Games, competitions in 43 sports are planned, including national games, horse racing, traditional wrestling, archery, as well as hunting with falcons and dogs.
