At a press conference in Bishkek, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, announced the allocation of 336 million soms from the state budget for the organization of the VI World Nomad Games.
These funds will be used to provide accommodation for athletes who will arrive for the events, as well as to cover essential organizational expenses.
49.8 million soms have been allocated for the prize fund.
Nursultan Adenov, head of the international secretariat of the World Nomad Games, noted that sponsors are getting involved in the preparation for this significant event. Some are ready to provide financial support, while others will contribute their products.
The collected sponsorship funds will be directed towards creating kits for participants and producing promotional videos about Kyrgyzstan and the World Nomad Games. It is expected that the broadcast of these videos will begin three months before the start of the competitions on international platforms.
"There is a practice in the world of creating so-called welcome packages. We plan to prepare such kits for about three thousand participants, which will include materials about Kyrgyzstan, nomadic culture, and memorable souvenirs," Nursultan Adenov noted.
