The start of the competition for the design of the ceremonial uniform for the opening of the VI World Nomad Games has been announced by the National Directorate of Sports Events under the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.
Designers, fashion designers, costume artists, and creative teams are invited to submit their original works, which should be executed in a national style and include elements of the official symbolism of the games. The outfit should consist of headgear, outerwear, trousers for men, and dresses for women, with a preference for materials such as cotton, wool, linen, and silk.
The competition will take place in two stages:
1. Preliminary stage — submission of sketches and descriptions of concepts;
2. Final stage — presentation of finished samples of uniforms for men and women.
Applications are accepted until November 17, 2025.
When evaluating the works, originality, relevance to the theme, quality of execution, and integrity of the image will be taken into account. The winners of the competition will receive cash prizes: 150,000 soms for first place, 100,000 soms for second, and 80,000 soms for third.
Participation in the competition is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design of an international sporting event and showcase the richness of Kyrgyzstan's national culture.
