Baisalbek was born on May 17, 2006, in the village of Arashan.
In an interview with a Turmush correspondent, he shared that he started playing kok-boru at the age of nine, playing as a defender. In 2022, he made his debut in the major leagues by joining the team "Zhas Kүch".
“In our family, kok-boru is a true tradition: all my older brothers also played this game. It is passed down from generation to generation and is an important part of our culture,” he noted.
“Unfortunately, this sport is quite injury-prone. This year, while playing for the team 'Sary-Özön', I injured my leg. Earlier, during a game of 'zher bulak', I hit my head hard and couldn’t participate in competitions for two months. I was advised to give up playing for two years, but I couldn’t do that. I returned to the sport after two months. My family doesn’t mind; even if they did, they understand that it’s impossible to convince me otherwise,” he added.
“In the future, I strive to achieve high results in the top leagues and dream of participating in the World Nomad Games,” Baisalbek said.
He also shared his impressions of his goal, which quickly became popular on social media.
“This event happened not long ago at the inter-district kok-boru tournament in Chui region. Our team from Alamidin took first place. In the final, we fought against a team from Sokuluk. When you score a goal, you don’t think about how you will fall or roll. You try to fall softly, however it happens. That day I felt joy from scoring the goal and didn’t feel any pain, but the next day my legs and pelvis hurt a lot,” he concluded.
