A recent meeting held by the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Dastan Bekeshev, with residents of the Oktyabrsky district highlighted issues concerning Skryabin Street. The information was published on his social media pages.

During the meeting, the deputy reported that the city hall is considering plans to expand the street, which is expected to lead to the cutting down of green spaces.

Local residents expressed their dissatisfaction with these proposals. They emphasized that they are not ready to support the road expansion if it comes at the expense of destroying trees and green areas. Instead, they called on the city authorities to focus on improving the northern part of Skryabin Street, particularly the section between Yunusalieva and Zhukeeva-Pudovkina streets.

“I plan to request information on the feasibility of the road expansion,” Bekeshev added.
