From March 30 to April 3, Kyrgyzstan will host the annual campaign to promote financial literacy called "Global Money Week 2026." This information was provided by the country's National Bank.

Under the slogan "Smart Money - Prosperity at Home," the event aims to educate citizens on the basics of personal finance management. As part of the program, participants will learn how to control their expenses, the fundamentals of investing, methods to protect against financial fraud, and how to find reliable information about financial products.

According to the regulator, the events will cover all regions of the republic. In collaboration with government agencies, commercial banks, financial organizations, and educational institutions, lectures, open classes, seminars, open days, bank tours, as well as various interactive games, contests, and quizzes are planned.

Participants will receive practical recommendations on financial security and making informed financial decisions.

Global Money Week has been in existence since 2012 and covers over 170 countries. The main goal of the campaign is to expand access to financial education for children and youth and to develop skills for effective personal finance management.

This event has been held in Kyrgyzstan since 2015, with the National Bank serving as the coordinator.
