According to information from the MES, avalanches may occur in the following areas:
- On the Bishkek — Osh highway, in sections between 121 and 138 kilometers (Tоо-Ashuu pass) and 198-255 kilometers (Chychkan gorge, Ala-Bel pass);
- On the Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart highway, within 292-305 kilometers (Dolon pass);
- On the Balikchi — Kazarman — Manas highway, in sections 201-205, 260-290, and 326-349 kilometers (Kok-Art pass);
- On the Karakol — Enilchek highway, between 45 and 90 kilometers (Chon-Ashuu pass), avalanches and snow drifts are also expected, making the roads slippery and icy.
The MES strongly recommends that drivers maintain a distance of 500 meters between vehicles to ensure safety on the roads.
