From March 24 to 28, adverse weather conditions are expected, which may lead to avalanches and snowstorms on several highways:
- On the Bishkek — Osh road (sections 121-138 km — To-Ashuu Pass, 198-255 km — Chychkan Gorge, Ala-Bel Pass);
- On the Ala-Buka — Kanysh-Kiya route (68-74 and 88-95 km — Chapchyma Pass);
- On the Krasnaya-Gorka — Ak-Tash road (0-2 km);
- On the Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart highway (292-305 km — Dolon Pass);
- On the Balykchy — Kazarman — Manas section (201-205, 260-290, 326-349 km — Kok-Art Pass).
In addition, ice and snow drifts are expected on the specified sections.
In this regard, the Ministry of Emergency Situations strongly recommends maintaining a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
Citizens are advised to call 112 in case of emergencies and to avoid long trips if possible.
