Avalanches and Icy Conditions Expected in the Mountainous Regions of Kyrgyzstan from March 15 to 18

Meteorologists warn of possible avalanches and adverse weather conditions in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan from March 15 to 18. This includes snow drifts and ice slicks.

According to their information, avalanche-prone sections of the road will appear on several key routes. In particular, avalanches may occur at kilometers 121-138 of the Bishkek - Osh road at the Too-Ashuu pass, as well as at kilometers 198-265, including the Ala-Bel pass and the Chychkan gorge.

Additionally, increased avalanche danger is expected at kilometers 55-115 of the Myrza-Ake - Kara-Kuldja - Alayku road, at kilometers 292-305 of the Bishkek - Naryn - Torugart road at the Dolon pass, as well as at sections 201-205, 260-290, and 326-349 of the Balakchy - Kazarman - Manas road at the Kok-Art pass.

There is also a threat of avalanches on the Karakol - Enilchek route, especially at the 45-90 kilometer section at the Chon-Ashuu pass.

Drivers are strongly advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters when passing through these dangerous areas.
