Drivers are urged to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters
From February 16 to 18, worsening weather conditions are expected in mountainous areas, including the occurrence of snow avalanches and the formation of ice. This is reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
On several sections of the roads, such as the Bishkek – Osh highway (Töö-Ashuu and Ala-Bel passes), Bishkek – Naryn – Torugart (Dolon pass), Balıkçı – Kazarman – Jalal-Abad (Kök-Art pass), and Karakol – Enilchek (Chon-Ashuu pass), as well as on the routes Ala-Buka – Kanysh-Kiya and Myrza-Ake – Kara-Kulja – Alayku, avalanches and snow drifts are predicted.
Drivers are strongly advised to exercise maximum caution and maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles on the specified sections.
