In particular, free movement is observed on the following sections:
- the Chiyrchik, Taldyk, Ton-Murun passes on the highway Osh — Sary-Tash — Irkeshtam;
- the Chapchima pass on the Ala-Buka — Zhany-Bazar — Kirovka route;
- the Too-Ashuu, Ala-Bel, and Kok-Bel passes on the Bishkek — Osh road, in the Boom Gorge;
- the Myrzake — Kara-Kuldja — Alayku road;
- the Dolon, Char, Ak-Beyit, Tuz-Bel, Kubaky, and Kyzyl-Bel passes on the Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart route;
- the Otmok pass on the Taraz — Talas — Suusamyr road and on the Tyup — Kegen route.
Road maintenance workers are actively engaged in clearing roads of snow, spreading anti-icing materials, and eliminating snow drifts.
There is also a reported increased likelihood of avalanches occurring on the following dates:
- from February 23 to 28 on the 198-255 km stretch of the Bishkek — Osh road: in the Otmok area, Ala-Bel pass, and Chychkan gorge;
- from February 23 to 26 on the 294-297 km stretch of the Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart road: Dolon pass and Kara-Unkur gorge.
In connection with the above, measures for the controlled release of snow avalanches are planned for the specified days.
The Ministry of Transport strongly recommends that drivers avoid long trips unless necessary.
