Kazuyoshi Miura, a Japanese forward who is currently the oldest professional footballer in the world, has decided to extend his career for another year. This was reported by Japan Today.

In the new season, which will begin soon, the 58-year-old forward will represent the colors of the club "Fukushima United," which competes in the third division of Japan. This will mark the 41st year of his participation in professional football.

Kazuyoshi Miura began his career in 1986 and has since played for numerous clubs in different countries. His career includes teams such as the Brazilian "Santos," Italian "Genoa," Australian "Sydney," Croatian "Dinamo" Zagreb, as well as several Japanese clubs, including "Verdy Kawasaki," "Vissel Kobe," and "Yokohama."

As part of the Japan national team, Miura played 89 matches and scored 55 goals, leaving a significant mark in the history of Japanese football. His decision to continue his career at the age of 58 highlights his remarkable longevity and dedication to the game.
