Historian and Museum Worker Jumakun Sydykov Has Passed Away

Dzhumakun Sydykovich was born on March 25, 1955, in Naryn. After completing his studies at the Faculty of History in Frunze, he dedicated his career to preserving cultural heritage. Since 1979, he began his professional activity at the Memorial House-Museum of M. V. Frunze, where he rose from junior researcher to deputy director. From 1986 to 1988, he led the lecture group of the branch of the Central Museum of V. I. Lenin and later worked in organizations involved in the protection of historical and cultural monuments, including the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz SSR.
