Kasyimbekov Aliy


Cinematographer. Born on October 25, 1922, in the village of Dyurbeljin, Ak-Tal district of the Kyrgyz SSR, in a peasant family, he died in 1973 in the city of Frunze. After completing seven years of schooling in 1940, he worked as an assistant drilling master at the Orto-Tokoy Reservoir. From 1942 to 1944, he served in the ranks of the Soviet Army. In 1944-1945, he worked as an electrician at the Izhora Plant, and from 1945 to 1947, he was an electromechanic at the Tokmak Canning Factory, returning as an electrician from 1951 to 1953 at the Frunze Energy Supply Company. In 1955, after returning from a business trip to the GDR, he became a lighting technician at the film studio. From 1955 to 1957, he progressed from assistant and assistant operator to independent work as a newsreel operator.

A. Kasyimbekov filmed numerous stories for the cinema magazine "Soviet Kyrgyzstan" from 1957 to 1962, the popular science film "Sugar Beet Growers of the Chui Valley," and the color documentary sketch "Kyrgyzstan." At the Frunze Television Studio from 1964 to 1969, he created television films as an operator, including "Across Kyrgyzstan," "Decade of Kyrgyz Art in Moscow," "Opera 'Manas'," and "Opera 'Toktogul'," and as a director, he worked on the films "Manas," "Sary-Chelek," "I Serve the Soviet Union," and "Welcome."
