Abdiev Musa
Costume designer. Born on February 23, 1934, in the collective farm named after Karl Marx in the Suzak district of the Osh region, in a peasant family.
After graduating from the Jalal-Abad boarding school, he studied at the Frunze Art College from 1951 to 1954, then was drafted into the army. He completed his studies in 1959 and was accepted as an assistant production designer at the Frunze Film Studio. Since 1962, he worked at "Kyrgyzfilm" as a costume designer. He participated in the creation of feature films such as "Heat" (1963) by L. Shepitko, "Dzhura" (1934) by A. Bergunker, "The First Teacher" (1965) by A. Mikhalkov-Konchalovsky, "Everyone Has Their Own Path" (1967) by M. Kovalev, "Mother's Field" (1967), "Ambush" (1969) by G. Bazarov, "Scarlet Poppies of Issyk-Kul" (1971) by B. Shamshiev, "Street" (1972) by G. Bazarov, "Waterfall" (1973) by Yu. Boretzky, "Red Apple" (1975) by T. Okeeva, "The Eye of the Needle" (1976) by G. Bazarov, "Sunny Island" (1976) by K. Akmataliev, "Kanybek" (1977) by G. Bazarov. He was the costume designer for the television films "The Singing Bowl" (1969) by U. Ibragimov, "Blue Jays" (1970) by G. Bazarov, and the documentaries "For the Good of the People" (1967), "Kyiial" (1967), "The Great Researcher" (1969).
Member of the USSR Union of Cinematographers since 1973.
