Bityukov Arkadiy Iosifovich
Editor. Member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1962. Born on June 12, 1932, in the village of Novo-Nikanorovka, Lower-Duvan district of the Voroshilovgrad region of the Ukrainian SSR, in a working-class family. He has lived in Kyrgyzstan since 1932. After graduating from high school in Frunze, he enrolled in 1961 at the philological faculty of Kyrgyz State University. During his studies and later, he wrote poetry and articles, actively publishing in the republican press, and collaborated with radio and television.
From 1966 to 1958, he worked as an editor at a film studio, then at the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz SSR as the deputy head of the Main Directorate of Cinematography, and as an editor for the production of documentary and feature films. From March 1963 to July 1965, he was again at the "Kyrgyzfilm" studio as the deputy director of the studio for the production of documentary and popular science films. From 1965 to 1968, he served as an instructor in the propaganda and agitation department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan. From 1968 to 1973, he was the first deputy chairman of the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of the Kyrgyz SSR. Since 1973, he has been the deputy head of the culture department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan.
L. Bityukov has written over 20 announcer texts for the newsreel "Soviet Kyrgyzstan" since 1956, as well as scripts for the documentary films "Holiday of Youth" (1958, directed by D. Erdman), "With an Open Heart" (1961, directed by B. Novikov), "Sing, Song" (1962, directed by A. Tokarev), and scripts for popular science films "The Work of Our Hands" (1961, directed by A. Tokarev), "Sary-Jaz" (1979, co-directed with M. Dzhergalbaev), "Kenes-Anarkhay" (1980, co-directed with G. Belokon).
A. Bityukov has published numerous reviews and articles on various current issues of the cinema art of Kyrgyzstan, among which the most significant are "Reflecting Life More Fully," "Young Art is Gaining Height," "The Experience of the Leaders on Screen!," "Mountains Do Not Divide Us," "The Writer and Cinema," "Man on Screen," "Change the Lens," "Party Passion - Wings of Cinematic Art," "Green Light for the Best Films."
Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR since 1963.
