Tayanova Irina Shamsheevna
Editor. Born on December 1, 1938, in the city of Frunze in a family of civil servants. Immediately after graduating from high school in 1956, she became an apprentice in the assembly shop of the Frunze Film Studio. In 1960, she became a student at the Faculty of Philology of Kyrgyz State University. In 1963, she moved to Vorkuta, worked as an assistant director at the television studio, and continued her studies part-time at Leningrad State University. From 1965 to 1968, she returned to the "Kyrgyzfilm" studio as an assistant director. In 1969, she defended her diploma thesis at Leningrad State University and became an editor at the creative association "Uchkyn" at the State Television and Radio of the Kyrgyz SSR. Since October 1970, she has been the senior editor of the "Kyrgyztelefilm" studio.
Her practical knowledge of film production and solid general education allowed I. Tayanova to master the specifics of editing work deeply. She was actively involved in the creation of television films such as "To Remember and to Know" (1970), "Meeting" (1971), "Bright Path" (1971, director and author of the narration text), "Hold on to the Saddle" (1972), "Glasses" (1973) by A. Vidugiris, "Surgeon" (1973), "Motor Home" (1974), "Path to the Premiere" (1974), "The Happiest Day" (1975), "Nature and the City" (1976), "Dance is My Life" (1977), and many other documentary films and concert films. She authored the scripts for the television films "Happy Childhood" (1976) and "Path to Art" (1977).
By editing films of various genres, themes, and styles, I. Tayanova consistently achieves their appropriate ideological and artistic level, closely collaborating with screenwriters, directors, and operators.
