The goalkeeper representing England on the international stage and playing for Everton, Jordan Pickford, has purchased a historic mansion in Cheshire for £5.7 million. This house once hosted high-profile guests, including members of the British royal family.
The deal was finalized in April 2022, when Pickford and his wife Megan Davison became the owners of the estate. Previously, celebrities such as Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, and the current King Charles III stayed here, thanks to the former owner, businessman Sebastian de Ferranti.
The mansion, built in 1860, sits on a plot of land measuring about 2.5 acres and includes eight bedrooms, a grand hall, a wide staircase, a neoclassical portico, an indoor swimming pool, and a garage that accommodates four cars.
For Pickford, this is an upgrade compared to his previous home in Cheshire, which he purchased in 2018 for £2.1 million.
According to media reports, the 31-year-old Everton goalkeeper earns about £150,000 a week and is the starting goalkeeper for the England national team, having played in 81 matches for the national squad.
