World Championship (U-20): The opponents of the Kyrgyzstan national team for next year have been determined

The youth hockey team of Kyrgyzstan (U-20) won the 2026 World Championship in Division 3 "B".

The competition took place from January 18 to 24 in Bishkek and gathered six teams participating in the tournament.

The Kyrgyz demonstrated excellent results, winning all five matches and confidently taking first place, which earned them gold medals.

In addition to the title of champions, the Kyrgyz national team received a promotion and will now represent the country in Group A of the third division.

In 2027, the Kyrgyz team will face opponents such as the national teams of Bulgaria, Belgium, Turkey, and Thailand, which competed in Division 3 "A" this year.

The tournament will also feature the national team of Iceland, which finished last, in sixth place in Division 2 "B" and was relegated to a lower division.

Information about the date and location of the next tournament will be announced later.
