Asian Championship: Muhammad Ali Matkarimov took 14th place

At the Asian Cycling Championship in Saudi Arabia, Muhammad Ali Matkarimov from Kyrgyzstan finished in 14th place.

The competitions, which take place on February 6, feature three sets of medals for men and women.

In the individual time trial for athletes under 23 years old over a distance of 24.6 km, 17 riders participated.

Matkarimov started with number nine and completed the race in 34 minutes and 39 seconds, demonstrating an average speed of 41.5 km/h, finishing 5 minutes and 36 seconds behind the Kazakh winner Mansur Beisenbay.

Also today, in the individual time trial over 31 km, Artyom Shapilov will compete among adult riders.

Earlier, Sofia Babunova took seventh place in the 15.8 km race among juniors, and on the first day of the tournament, Kirill Safronov finished in 11th place in the individual time trial over 20 km among juniors.
