Asian Championship: Igor Filin won silver among masters

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan Igor Filin won a silver medal at the Asian Cycling Championship held in Saudi Arabia.

The competition among masters in the individual time trial over a distance of 20 km took place on February 7.

In the 60-64 age category, 6 athletes competed at the start. Filin finished the race with a time of 30 minutes and 16 seconds, which corresponds to an average speed of 39.6 km/h, and took second place.

He was 54 seconds behind the winner from Hong Kong.

In addition, Filin participated in the road race of 62.4 km, where he finished first and won a gold medal.
