
During the meeting, the results of the sports season were summarized, and outstanding achievements of athletes in technical sports were highlighted. The best racers representing disciplines such as enduro, gymkhana, and other areas of auto-motorsport were awarded trophies, diplomas, and commemorative prizes.
The Union of Sports Federations of the Kyrgyz Republic ensures the coordination and development of sports in the country, uniting national federations. Askar Salymbekov, the president of the Union, emphasized that sports play a key role in strengthening public unity and forming youth culture. He noted that the achievements of Kyrgyz athletes inspire the youth and contribute to the development of a sense of national pride.
Kuvvatbek Askarbekov, the general secretary of the Union of Sports Federations, focused on the need for systematic support and the creation of modern infrastructure for technical sports. He pointed out that recognizing the successes of athletes and creating conditions for their development play an important role in popularizing auto-motorsport among the youth.
As part of the event, racing prototypes for both adult and young athletes were showcased, as well as racing simulators, where everyone could try their hand at being a racer and experience driving a sports car.
Participants of the meeting discussed plans for further development of technical sports, attracting youth, and compiling a calendar of national competitions for the upcoming season. They discussed how strengthening cooperation between federations could contribute to the growth of auto-motorsport and increase the competitiveness of Kyrgyz athletes on the international stage.
The atmosphere of business communication and warmth at the event stemmed from the necessity of summarizing the season, exchanging experiences, and strengthening sports cooperation in the country.
Additionally, the first Sport Shamy 2025 ceremony took place in Bishkek, where the best sports journalists in Kyrgyzstan were named. Winners in five categories received cash prizes, and the competition aimed to support and develop sports journalism in the country.
