In April of this year, the Youth Asia Cup for players under 18 will take place in Kyrgyzstan.
Six teams will participate in the competition: Kyrgyzstan, India, Iran, Macau, Malaysia, and Mongolia.
The previous tournament was held in 2024 in Tashkent and Samarkand, where the winners were the hockey players from Uzbekistan, who defeated the Thailand team with a score of 2:1 in the final.
For the Kyrgyzstan youth team (U-18), this will be their first experience participating in a tournament of this level.
In January of this year, Bishkek also hosted the World Championship for (U-20) teams in the third division, where the Kyrgyzstan team won and was able to advance to the next division.
