Rest at Issyk-Kul in the "Old Castle" Sanatorium
Location: the "Old Castle" sanatorium is located in the village of Tamchi, 30 km from the city of Cholpon-Ata, and 220 km from Bishkek. By car, it takes approximately 3 hours to get from Bishkek to the village of Tamchi, and 30 minutes from Cholpon-Ata.
Accommodation: the "Old Castle" sanatorium is a hotel complex designed in a medieval style and consists of the following modern residential complexes (castles or houses): OLD CASTLE, ENGLISH HOUSE, FRENCH HOUSE, CHINESE HOUSE, FLAMINGO. All rooms are equipped with shower cabins with cold and hot water and a bathroom.
Infrastructure: the territory of the "Old Castle" sanatorium is well-maintained and lush with greenery. The sanatorium has its own restaurant, a summer café, and two conference rooms with a capacity of 20 and 40 people. There is an outdoor swimming pool, a sauna with an indoor pool, disco parties, and water activities such as jet skis, catamarans, "bananas," and boat trips on yachts or riverboats. Excursions to the surrounding region, including mountain gorges and historical sites, are organized. For sports enthusiasts, there is a tennis court, billiards, and table tennis on the premises.
Meals: meals at the sanatorium are provided three times a day in the on-site restaurant, with a menu primarily featuring Central Asian and European cuisine. Meals are included in the room rate. There is also an option to try dishes of Eastern cuisine at the summer café.
Beach: the sanatorium does not have its own beach; the beach is public.

NOTES: The prices do not include a 14% tax and a 2.3% resort fee, which are payable upon check-in at the sanatorium. Meals at the sanatorium are three times a day, primarily featuring Asian and European cuisine. Meals are included in the room rate. According to Article 182 of the Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the 3% resort tax is not included in the price and is charged separately.
