Kyrgyzstan and India Activate Projects in Education and Healthcare

Recently, a meeting took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India, Birender Singh Yadav. During the negotiations, the parties expressed their intention to continue deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries, as reported by the press service of the ministry.
An important topic of discussion was bilateral projects, as well as the results achieved from joint work. The minister emphasized the significance of the memorandums of understanding signed on November 17, concerning projects at the Center for Family Medicine and the M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz Economic University.

Birender Singh congratulated the Kyrgyz side on the successful parliamentary elections held on November 30, 2025, and noted the positive changes in the country. Details of major international events to be held in Bishkek were also discussed.

The parties discussed opportunities to increase mutual trade volumes, based on the results of the 4th ministerial meeting of the "Central Asia – India" Dialogue, which took place on June 5-6, 2025, in New Delhi.

Additionally, the participants exchanged views on the preparation of high-level bilateral visits.

In conclusion, there was a reaffirmation of the mutual interest in further comprehensive development of Kyrgyz-Indian relations.
