The Foreign Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan agreed to deepen cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan

During the state visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to Pakistan on December 3, 2025, a meeting took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

The meeting featured a constructive dialogue, during which various aspects of bilateral cooperation were discussed. Both ministers expressed their readiness to strengthen political dialogue and further develop all areas of interaction based on trust and mutual respect.

Kulubaev emphasized the importance of activating cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, transport, logistics, and culture. He noted that the development of these areas would contribute to deepening ties between the business communities of both countries and increasing trade volumes.

Issues concerning regional security were also discussed, with an emphasis on the need for joint efforts to counter modern threats. The parties expressed interest in more active interaction between the relevant agencies in this area.

As part of multilateral cooperation, Kulubaev informed the Pakistani side that Kyrgyzstan will chair the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2026 and expressed hope for Pakistan's active participation in this role.

Following the negotiations, the parties expressed optimism that the visit of S. Japarov would be a significant step in strengthening and expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in all mutually beneficial areas. The ministers confirmed their readiness to continue working to deepen bilateral relations.
