The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the UN discussed the results of the year and preparations for the meeting in Almaty

An important dialogue took place in Almaty between representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic and the UN, where they discussed the results of the work of the Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy, as well as preparations for the upcoming meeting of deputy foreign ministers of Central Asia, scheduled for November 27-28. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on this event.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Temirbek Erkinov, held talks with Kaha Imnadze, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Central Asia and head of the RCAPD. They discussed the key achievements of the Center for the year 2025, as well as issues related to the organization and content of upcoming events.

The parties noted the high level of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and UN structures, especially with the Regional Center. The Kyrgyz Republic confirmed its readiness to continue strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Center's mandate, which aims to support countries in the region in responding to security challenges and threats.
