Japarova, Mirziyoyev, and Rahmon Awarded the International Peace Prize

On December 21, the International Peace Prize named after L.N. Tolstoy was awarded in St. Petersburg, with the participation of the presidents Sadyr Japarov (Kyrgyzstan), Emomali Rahmon (Tajikistan), and Shavkat Mirziyoyev (Uzbekistan). This information was provided by the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan.

The head of the Kyrgyz state noted that the final resolution of border issues is critically important for security in the Eurasian region and for geopolitical stability as a whole. He emphasized that the agreements reached reflect the sincere desire of the peoples for peace and good neighborliness.

According to Russian media reports, Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, addressed the award ceremony with a greeting. He congratulated the presidents on receiving the award and noted that their example should serve as inspiration for others.
