
As reported by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, at the EAEU summit in St. Petersburg, Vladimir Putin will meet with the Presidents of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, Alexander Lukashenko and Sadyr Japarov, respectively.
The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council is scheduled for December 21, and an informal CIS summit will take place the following day, December 22.
Peskov emphasized that the upcoming events will be rich and constructive. "First, there will be the EAEU summit, where important issues will be discussed and documents prepared. Before that, meetings are planned with the President of Kyrgyzstan and the President of Belarus, after which an expanded meeting will take place, followed by informal communication," he noted.
In addition to this, another significant event will take place on Sunday. "Three presidents - from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan - will receive the Tolstoy Peace Prize. This is an important award ceremony," the press secretary added.
He also clarified that the prize was awarded several months ago, and its presentation will take place in the coming days.
