- The fight against counterfeit certificates confirming the compliance of food products within the EAEU will continue. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Belarus, Alexander Turchin, at a meeting held on December 11.

Next year, the launch of a financial support mechanism for joint projects in the agro-industrial complex is expected, which will deepen cooperation among EAEU countries in the field of innovations and agro-technologies.

Turchin noted that significant attention will be paid to protecting the common market from hazardous products.

“It is important to create an intergovernmental system so that the fight against improperly issued certificates is truly effective for the entire EAEU,” said the Prime Minister of Belarus.

To date, a number of key documents have been developed within the union, forming a system of interaction between supervisory and customs authorities, as well as accreditation bodies.
