According to the EEC, this exemption applies to "pure electric vehicles" (code 8703 80 000 3 of the EAEU Customs Tariff), which will be imported into Belarus in the amount of 20,000 units. Additionally, 15,000 "pure electric vehicles" and "series hybrids" (code 8703 80 000 5 of the EAEU Customs Tariff) will be supplied to Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, respectively.
It is important to note that the exemption from customs duties is granted exclusively to citizens who permanently reside in Armenia, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan. Furthermore, the transfer of ownership, use, and disposal rights of electric vehicles to individuals who hold citizenship or permanent residence in Kazakhstan and Russia is not permitted. There are also restrictions on the transfer of rights regarding "series hybrids" for residents of Belarus, as reported by the EEC.
