
The second session of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly took place in Minsk.
According to BelTA agency, the session is being held on December 18 and 19, and on the first day, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, addressed the people and parliamentarians.
On the second day of the session, a discussion of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2026–2030 is scheduled. This document will be the main focus and will receive approval from the delegates. Prime Minister Alexander Turchin will present the program.
The draft program highlights several key priorities. The main focus is on human development issues: demographic security, human potential, and creating a comfortable and high-quality living environment. Other priorities include increasing competitiveness, implementing new technologies, and digitalizing the economy. Additionally, measures are planned to strengthen the regions, improve the country's defense capabilities, and develop the tourism sector.
