Sadyr Japarov spoke at the Seventh Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Leaders in Tashkent

On November 16, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, spoke at the Seventh Consultative Meeting, which includes the presidents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. At the beginning of his speech, he expressed gratitude to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the warm welcome and congratulated Uzbekistan on the successful hosting of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Assembly in Samarkand.

Japarov emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan joining the format of the meetings, highlighting that this would expand opportunities for cooperation in the region. He stressed the need to maintain trust and unity among the Central Asian countries.

The president proposed that the participants coordinate their positions and act as a united front on international platforms, such as "Central Asia +", including preliminary consultations between foreign ministries before international summits.

Additionally, he underscored the role of tourism as a means of bringing peoples closer together and announced that in 2026, Kyrgyzstan would host the Sixth World Nomad Games, inviting all Central Asian countries to participate in this event.

Japarov concluded his speech by thanking Uzbekistan for its effective chairmanship and wished Turkmenistan success, reaffirming Kyrgyzstan's readiness to support the agreements reached.
