
On November 6, in Washington, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, made a statement to the press before the start of the "Central Asia - USA" (C5+1) summit.
In his speech, Japarov expressed gratitude to President Donald Trump for the warm welcome and the opportunity to discuss various bilateral, regional, and international issues, noting that Kyrgyzstan highly values the United States as an important partner in foreign policy.
Discussing Kyrgyz-American relations, the Head of State highlighted several priority areas for cooperation:
• hydropower;
• economy, investments, and tourism;
• IT sector, digital economy, and artificial intelligence;
• security and sustainable development.
In this context, Japarov emphasized the significant contribution of Donald Trump to strengthening global stability and resolving conflicts on the international stage.
He noted: "When I took office as President, one of my main tasks was to resolve the issues of the state border with neighboring countries in the spirit of good neighborliness."
He added with satisfaction that this task was successfully accomplished, and importantly, through peaceful means.
"As a result, the role of Central Asia in international politics has significantly increased, and the interest of major powers in cooperating with the region continues to strengthen," the President emphasized, adding that the C5+1 format has become a significant platform for political dialogue.
Sadyr Japarov also expressed confidence that joint efforts will lead to concrete results and will promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and the United States.
The President of the United States, in turn, emphasized the importance of the region, which connects the East and the West, and highlighted strengthening economic security and expanding supply chains as key aspects of interaction with Central Asia.
