An exhibition dedicated to International Mountain Day will be held at the M. Frunze House Museum.

On December 11, an exhibition titled "Guardians of the Mountains: NABU and the Conservation of the Snow Leopard in Kyrgyzstan" will take place at the memorial house-museum of M. V. Frunze. This event is timed to coincide with International Mountain Day, as reported by the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to information from the ministry, the exhibition is organized in collaboration with the non-governmental organization "Nature Conservation Union (NABU) of Germany" in Kyrgyzstan. The event highlights the long-standing activities of this organization in the country and its significant contribution to the preservation of natural heritage.

The exhibition is dedicated to the rich biodiversity of the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the symbolic role of the snow leopard in maintaining ecological balance. It showcases the results of NABU's work in protecting rare species of animals and mountain ecosystems.

The exhibition includes a variety of materials: wildlife photographs, videos obtained through camera traps, stories of rescued animals, a map of snow leopard migrations, as well as samples of field equipment used by rangers and multimedia installations.

Admission to the exhibition is free.

Location: Bishkek, Frunze Street, 364, atrium of the memorial house-museum of M. V. Frunze.

The exhibition will be open from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
