- The land and water use control service, operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, calls on citizens and landowners to strictly adhere to the norms of land legislation. This was reported by the ministry's press service.

According to new data, land plots must be used exclusively in accordance with their designated purpose as specified in the title documents. Cases of non-targeted land use have been recorded, which, in particular, leads to soil degradation on agricultural plots. Such actions violate the norms of Land Legislation.

The Ministry of Agriculture emphasized that the creation of landfills from sand and gravel, as well as illegal construction and damage to the soil layer, is strictly prohibited on agricultural lands. Penalties for such violations are provided, the amount of which is determined based on the size of the damaged area.

Examples of fines:

* Damage to 1 hectare of pasture — up to 930,000 soms.

* Damage to 1 hectare of arable land — up to 8.5 million soms.

“Violators are required to restore the damaged areas at their own expense,” the Ministry of Agriculture added.
