At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh held on January 14, deputy Aigul Akhmedova shared information about the critical situation in schools in the Aravan district.

During her visit to the Madamin Nazarov Secondary School and School No. 62 named after Kamila Makariimova, located in the village of Ishkalan in the Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural district of the city of Osh, she identified serious problems.

Akhmedova emphasized that the buildings of these educational institutions are in an emergency state and are currently closed. As a result, students are forced to receive education in alternative places — some are studying in a mosque, while others are in the building of the FAP (Field-Attached Polyclinic).

The deputy noted that these schools are included in the budget, and the design work has already been completed. She called for prompt funding to be allocated at the beginning of 2026 to commence construction work.

Akhmedova also drew attention to the condition of two other educational institutions: the Kapar Narbaev School in the village of Sarai (Yusupov rural council) and the Abdurashid Salamov School (Dobo-Korgon rural council).

According to her, the buildings of these schools are also in extremely unsatisfactory condition: the floors and ceilings are rotting, there is dampness, which poses a safety threat to students. The deputy urged the relevant state authorities to conduct inspections and take necessary measures.
