In the village of Ylay-Talaa, located in the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region, the A. Osmonov Secondary School is in need of serious capital repairs. It is planned to allocate 5 million 880 thousand 785 soms for the restoration of the primary building.

The leadership of the Ylay-Talaa rural administration has already submitted an application for funding through a shared (incentive) grant.

According to information posted on the "Open Budget" portal, the local budget of the mayor's office has allocated its own funds in the amount of 880 thousand 785 soms for 2025, while 5 million soms are required for the shared grant.

The essence of the problem:

“Our school building was put into operation in 1955. Currently, it serves children in the primary grades — from first to fourth. The floors, ceilings, and doors are in extremely unsatisfactory condition. The internal and external plaster has already begun to crumble. If we can carry out capital repairs — replace the floors and doors, repair the walls, and install a modern heating system, it will significantly improve the learning conditions. Our children deserve to study in a comfortable environment and receive quality education,” the school representatives note.
