During the session of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 14, Deputy Gulnara Baatyrova voiced a number of problems related to medical services in some villages of the Osh region.

She noted that in the Uzgen district, a new polyclinic building was constructed, but its location on the outskirts of the village creates difficulties for residents and medical staff in terms of access to the facility.

“There is no public transport, and it is difficult for both patients and doctors to get there,” the deputy emphasized.

Baatyrova also reminded that the old polyclinic was located in the center of the village, which made it more accessible for the population.

Additionally, she suggested that the Ministry of Health consider the need to open procedural rooms, as this issue affects not only the Uzgen and Kara-Kuldzhin districts but the entire country as a whole.

The deputy also drew attention to the complaints about the lack of medicines in medical institutions, pointing out that according to regulations, each healthcare organization should have a stock of medications for at least three months. However, patients are forced to purchase medicines on their own.
