Deputy Bolo Ibrahimov emphasized the importance of the ability to conduct on-site breath testing for drivers in emergency situations.
Urmambetov added that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already sent a relevant request to the Ministry of Health, as difficulties have arisen during judicial practice due to the lack of certified specialists. In particular, this has led to the cancellation of 259 protocols.
The Deputy Minister also noted that work is underway in district medical institutions to certify doctors so that they can legally and correctly use breathalyzers, which in turn will help avoid problems in the judicial system.
