At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh held on December 25, deputy Alisher Kozyuev stated that the nationwide testing program (ORT) does not meet the requirements of the school curriculum.

In his opinion, it would be advisable to include materials from the school curriculum in the ORT.

“Students from rural areas who have good knowledge cannot fully demonstrate their abilities. Not everyone has the opportunity to attend paid preparatory courses for the ORT. After 12 years of education, they face the necessity of preparing additionally on a paid basis. The program should be revised. Gifted graduates are often disappointed with their results on the ORT,” the deputy noted.
