At the parliamentary meeting, the necessity of building a school in the village of Eski-Oochu in the Leylek district was discussed. Deputy Kamila Talieva addressed the Minister of Construction Nurdana Oruntaev, noting that the previous school was built using the ashar method, and now, with the increasing number of children, this has become a pressing issue.

Parliamentarians considered the draft law "On the Ratification of the Loan Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Saudi Fund for Development for the project 'Construction of Public Schools' Phase-2," which was signed on October 9, 2025, in Bishkek.

Talieva requested to add the village to the title list for the construction of a new school.

Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu urged the deputies to focus solely on the discussion of this draft law. He warned that questions unrelated to the topic would lead to microphones being turned off.

“We will invite Nurdana mырза separately to ask him questions. The microphone should not be used inappropriately; it is important to develop a culture of asking questions specifically about the draft law,” the speaker noted.

Deputy Kunduzbek Sulaymanov added that the parliament has the right to either approve or reject the draft law. For other issues, deputies can address the minister directly.

Erulan Kokulov agreed with the speaker's opinion but pointed out that sometimes ministers are not given the opportunity to answer questions. “We represent the interests of the people and have the right to ask questions,” he emphasized.

In the end, the parliament approved the draft law.
