On November 19, the Forest Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan and the Korean Forest Service officially announced the start of a joint project titled "Enhancing the Capacity of the National Nursery System and Pilot Reforestation Considering Local Conditions." The relevant information was provided by the press service of the Forest Service.

During the event, plans were discussed for the construction of modern nurseries and greenhouses in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the planting of seedlings of both deciduous and coniferous trees, taking into account the climatic features of different regions. Additionally, it was decided to send forestry specialists for training in South Korea.

The Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Mazaripov, emphasized the importance of nurseries, which will provide regions with quality seedlings and contribute to the implementation of the national initiative "Zhasyl Muras," aimed at strengthening the country's capacity in reforestation.

As part of this project, it is planned to create three forest nurseries and carry out afforestation of 300 hectares of the State Forest Fund.
