Support is being provided to tailors from the presidential fund
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Daniyar Amangeldiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, announced that two state banks, Aiyl Bank and Eldik Bank, have started issuing interest-free loans for representatives of the sewing industry.
According to him, tailors in Kyrgyzstan face limitations in financial resources, which prompted the president to make the decision to provide them with such assistance.
Amangeldiev clarified that in the event of delays in cargo at the border, tailors have no opportunity to produce a new batch of goods, which also became a reason for the implementation of the interest-free lending program.
He added that the funds for these loans have been allocated from the presidential fund.
In addition, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers refuted information that between 6,000 to 8,000 sewing workshops have closed in Kyrgyzstan, calling this data inaccurate.
